Ulrich Raschke, Der Holzweg

When we stopped publishing the broadsides (FlugBlätter) in 1984, we considered publishing a series of books with original graphics instead, at a reasonable price, which we called FlugBlattBücher. Der Holzweg (The Wood Path) was the first volume in this series. I made a series of woodcuts to go with Raschke’s text, and printed them and the text in red on newspaper.

54 pages, newspaper, text hand-set, letterpress printed, block book binding, 16 x 25 cm, 60 numbered and signed copies. Lahnstein 1984.
